IE 6 Float Conundrum
I’m working on a site where I plan to have a right-floated box containing floated paragraphs that in turn contain an image and some text. The main box is based upon Creating Custom Corners and Borders from A List Apart, but something strange is happening in Internet Explorer 6.
When you shrink the browser window to a point just before the floated paragraphs wrap, IE6 decides that it’s time to add some padding to the right-hand side - Firefox 0.9.1 works fine, by the way. I’ve set up an example page with further description here - if anyone has any ideas as to how to go about getting this to work in Microsoft’s ‘wonderful’ browser, then I’m ‘all ears’…..
